Founded by Martin Greywolf Murphy (Umoja, Shredd!, Extraordinary Fila), Thee Flammable Babylon Percussion Ensemble is a high-energy, multi-cultural fusion-driven experimental percussion ensemble incorporating a profound diversity of percussive instruments, techniques, and styles. We perform with the intent and belief that if we play well enough we will free your mind, your ass will follow, and then your ass will take your mind to WalMart where you'll buy a gun to use to kill your television. Or something like that, anyway: drumming is the healing of a community speaking in unison; dancing is a community growing together in motion.
