YES it's a miniature DRUM and DANCE FESTIVAL! We start from 7–9 PM with a facilitated TRANCE DANCE, featuring members of Thee Flammable Babylon Percussion Ensemble; move into a community DRUM JAM from 9-Midnight. Both events are on a love donation basis (Suggested $15 for the Trance Dance and $10 for the Drum Jam but it is more important that if you feel the call to be present you can be.) In addition there will be vendors and artists present offering henna, bling, and all manner of tribal paraphernalia. 

TRANCE DANCE to Live Music! An opportunity for spiritual and intentional dance. Thee Flammable Babylon Percussion Ensemble will provide music designed to entrain the brain into trance states, allowing dancers the opportunity to freely explore the motion that they individually need to express; our dance facilitators will offer suggestions for exploring movement and deepening both exploration and expression.

Participants are led along a themed journey – the first one was the 4 elements (earth, water, air and fire) and Spirit; next up… “the Quantum serpent”! – guided by a dance facilitator who teaches simple, rhythmic movements that act as physical expressions of the trance-driving rhythms and the brainwaves they manifest.
